Soulful, dynamic tones
Vintage Trombone includes 58 high-quality one shots playing in round robin, velocity-sensitive playing, a reverb with size, width, damp, and dry/wet settings and ADSR controls for advanced sound design. With a pitch range of G1-F3, this Instrument shines when you play chords and melodies in the lower ranges.
The stunningly soft articulation and dynamics paired with the velocity-sensitive playing makes beautiful vintage horn sections.
Some tips from soundsbymicah:
• Place your Midis slightly off the beat or in a small strumming pattern to make horn sections sound more realistic.
• If your Midi plays at different velocities it will help it to sound even more realistic.
• Tweak the Attack Envelope very slightly for even softer tones and articulations (I tweak my Attack from 0.05-0.20 for softer articulations and dynamics).
• If you turn up the Attack and Reverb you get a more pad-like sound.
